Food Safety

We continuously strive to produce increasingly safe and high-quality products. Therefore, we maintain rigorous quality and safety controls throughout the entire production chain, adhering to standards and norms for the manufacturing, processing, storage, and transportation of our products. Furthermore, we constantly invest in training our team and modernizing our laboratories, where we conduct chemical and biological analyses of our products.

Environment

Alibem believes that the sustainable growth of its business depends on practices that contribute to the development and quality of life of society, through initiatives that promote environmental preservation.

To this end, we have adopted initiatives such as:

  • To ensure the proper disposal of waste (dry and organic);

  • To encourage environmental awareness among our employees through the rational use of natural resources (recycling, reusing, and reducing);

  • To invest in the search for processes that reduce water consumption in our operations;

  • To use renewable forests as an energy source;

Corporate Responsibility

We understand that Alibem’s business only makes sense if it aligns with the social interests of the region. The company’s social arm, the Alibem Foundation, is a non-profit organization based in Santa Rosa that develops projects related to sports and leisure, benefiting employees and residents of the region. Animal Welfare

For Alibem, promoting animal welfare is an ethical commitment reflected throughout the production process, with the fundamental principle being intolerance of mistreatment of any kind.

Thus, as part of its ESG agenda, focused on sustainable development, the Company has just launched its Animal Welfare Policy, which expresses guidelines and intentions regarding the topic. It has also updated its publicly and voluntarily assumed commitments to promoting animal welfare.

Sustainability Report

Committed to transparency, Alibem and Agra annually publish their Sustainability Report, a publication that presents information on their operational, financial, environmental, social, and governance performance.

Guided by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines, the Report addresses management, policies, corporate practices, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) indicators related to the most relevant business topics.

Aligned with GRI recommendations, the definition of the reported topics involved the engagement of representatives from different stakeholder groups of both companies – such as employees, customers, and suppliers.
